Is the iPhone Duo in stock? How to find one near you

Where iPhone Duo stock actually appears, why it disappears so fast, and the most reliable way to catch it at your local Apple Store.

Apple's first foldable iPhone went up for pre-order on Friday 16 October 2026, and as with most big Apple launches, the earliest delivery dates started slipping within hours. If you missed the first wave, the question now is simple: where is the iPhone Duo actually in stock, and how do you get to it before someone else does?

The short answer

Stock exists, but it moves. Apple sells the iPhone Duo through its online store, its own retail stores, and selected carriers and resellers. Online delivery dates are a single national queue, so once they slip they tend to stay slipped. Apple Stores are different. Each store receives its own deliveries, and when a store has units it can offer them for in-store pickup. That availability changes store by store and hour by hour.

That is the gap iPhone Duo Finder is built around. Apple Stores receive stock every day, and a unit that appears at your nearest store at 8am can be reserved by 8:05.

Where to look, in order

Why stock "appears" and "disappears"

When a store marks a configuration as available for pickup, anyone browsing that store can reserve it. With only a handful of units of a given storage size and colour, availability can show up and vanish in minutes. That is not a glitch. It is simply demand meeting a small delivery.

Two things make it harder:

  1. There are eight configurations. The iPhone Duo comes in four storage sizes (256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB) and two colours (Star White and Night Sky). A store can have the 1TB Night Sky and nothing else.
  2. Every store is separate. A city with three Apple Stores can show stock in one and none in the other two.

Checking by hand vs getting an alert

You can absolutely do this yourself: open the pickup page, pick a store, refresh. The downside is that you have to refresh at the right moment. Most people give up after a day or two.

iPhone Duo Finder does the checking for you. You choose your country and store, and either:

The fee is one-off and pays for the alert service. It is not a reservation, and nobody can guarantee you a phone. Stock sells fast and you still need to reserve it with Apple yourself. What the alert does is take away the guesswork about when to look.

Tips that genuinely help

What we do not do

We do not buy phones on your behalf, hold stock, or have any special access. iPhone Duo Finder is independent and not affiliated with Apple Inc. We read the same public pickup availability you can see on apple.com, just far more often than a person can.

If you are ready, set up an alert for your store, or read how Apple Store pickup works for the iPhone Duo.
